When it comes to navigating your career, there’s nothing worse than feeling stuck and alone. Gone are the days that you suffer in silence and stay with a job and/or leader that makes you unhappy. IDI assesses intercultural competence—the capability to shift cultural perspective and appropriately adapt behavior to cultural differences and commonalities. Let me help you explore ways to improve your ability to recognize and effectively respond to those of different cultures. As a Qualified Administrator of the IDI, I have been trained and licensed to effectively use the tool for building intercultural competence at the individual and team levels.
While all leaders have a responsibly for cultivating equitable cultures, it is unfair to expect inclusive leadership to come natural for everyone. Leaders are human and deserve a psychologically safe space to ask questions and discuss the tough stuff. I mean the really stuff. And as long as one is open to being respectfully challenged and have a desire to develop their cultural competence, I’m committed to walking alongside them on their journey to better understanding and connecting with others.
